St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth is deeply committed to equipping students for successful futures through its proactive Career and Placement Cell, which operates through three key wings: Placement, Higher Education, and Entrepreneurship. These wings collaboratively support students in career planning, competitive exam preparation, and entrepreneurial exploration.
The Placement Wing organizes placement drives, career counselling sessions, soft skill development classes, LinkedIn orientations, and interview preparation workshops to ensure students are industry-ready. Through a strategic partnership with NASSCOM, the college offers access to the Future Skills Prime platform, providing certifications in digital technologies and soft skills from global leaders like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. Over 800 students have enrolled in these skilling initiatives. The college is also registered under the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission (KKEM), utilizing the Digital Workforce Management System (DWMS) for student upskilling, mentoring, and placement support. Ms. Gopika Anilkumar (BSc Mathematics, final year) serves as the student coordinator for KKEM 2024–2025.
The Higher Education Wing, along with various academic departments, conducts regular Competitive Exam Cracker Sessions to help students prepare for a wide range of national and state-level exams including JAM, NET, JRF, SSC, PSC, CAT, KMAT, and MAT. These sessions are designed to provide subject-specific training, aptitude development, and exam strategies to boost student performance.
The Entrepreneurship Wing, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), encourages innovation and start-up culture by organizing workshops and awareness campaigns that promote entrepreneurial skills and mindset.
The Placement Cell supports internship opportunities, industrial visits, and hands-on training to bridge the gap between academics and the professional world. Through these integrated efforts, St. Aloysius College empowers students to excel in academic, professional, and entrepreneurial pursuits.
