At St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, Life Skill Development is a key component of our commitment to holistic education, empowering students to meet the demands and challenges of everyday life with confidence and resilience. In alignment with UGC guidelines and NAAC, the college organizes a series of programs every academic year focused on critical life skills such as health and hygiene, mental well-being, self-defense, legal awareness, stress management, leadership, and communication. These initiatives, coordinated by various departments and clubs—including the Health Club, Women’s Cell, and NSS aim to instill a sense of responsibility, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal competence in students. Highlights include awareness classes on menstrual hygiene, drug abuse prevention, and road safety; workshops on self-defence and digital literacy; and seminars on leadership and legal rights. Each activity is carefully documented with photographs, attendance records, and feedback forms, ensuring a robust feedback loop and continuous improvement. Through this multi-dimensional approach, the college nurtures well-rounded individuals ready to face real- world challenges and contribute positively to society.
